Especially in the automotive industry the remaining thread ends after thread trimming are a constant bother. As a rule the thread ends have to be trimmed manually which means a waste of time comparable to the manual trimming as it was usual more than 20 years ago. In view of this new requirement the approved lockstitch machine 767-KFA-573-RAP-HP has been equipped with a trimmer for threads cut short allowing a remaining thread length of 5 mm so that there is no need for manual trimming any longer. Furthermore, the 767 is equipped with an integrated second stitch length and an electromagnetic thread clamp pulling the threads at the seam beginning to the underside of the fabric thus guaranteeing a "neat" seam beginning. In order to counteract the frequent and cost-intensive bibbin change when processing large-sized workpieces the 767-KFA-573-RAP-HP is equipped with an XXL-hook the bobbin thread capacity of which has been increased by 70%.
