The continuous trend towards thicker sewing threads in the home upholstery industry requires frequent bobbin change. For this reason class 767 has been equipped with an XXL-hook. Due to the bobbin thread capacity increased by 70% the frequency of bobbin changes can be reduced extremly. Also in case of this subclass "FAS" means a second integrated stitch length making it possible to call up two preselectable stitch lengths alternately. This allows among others a quick changeover from closing seams to decorated seams.
